The farewell hall - what it looks like
The farewell hall allows a calm, private goodbye in a dignified, well-kept space, whatever the weather or season. It is a place where family and friends can gather beside the deceased, pray together or take part in a secular ceremony led by a master of ceremonies. The atmosphere of such a ceremony is focused and intimate.
We prepare the hall properly: floral decoration, sound system, music and seating for those attending. We help set out the course of the ceremony - from welcoming the family, through memories and a prayer or a farewell speech, to accompanying the deceased. The farewell hall can be combined with both a traditional burial and a cremation.
